Since the Scot arrived in the autum of 1998 he has been a revelation, taking us to the brink of the conference and almost to wembely in the F.A.Trophy.

Previously with our near neighbours Stamford he joined the club when we were in a dire state after Greg Fee left us in the lurch. Almost immediately the club changed bringing in better players like Ian Stringfellow, Super Matt Carmicheal, Mark Rawle and Gary Childs to name but a few.

Since his playing carear was cut short by injury, Sir Steve has taken charge at numerous clubs but Boston United being his first major one.
